Actress Emma Watson attended Burberry’s show at the London Fashion Week for she is contracted to represent the brand for the autumn/winter 2009-2010 seasons. Emma came all the way from the United States to London in order to attend the show. She will return to the US shortly after to pursue a higher education at one of the prestigious Ivy League, Brown University (view pictures).

Actress Emma Watson was welcomed back in London by the paparazzi at the Heathrow Airport. She came from Brown University in the US and is expected to attend the London Fashion Week in which Burberry, the brand she is the face of, will participate in.
Emma Watson collaborates with People Tree

Actress Emma Watson works with People Tree, the sustainable and fair trade fashion brand, on a fashion line for the 16-24 age group. All proceeds from the line for young people will be donated to People Tree Foundation. Emma will be serving as creative advisor on the spring summer line which will be launched in February 2010, and will feature 26 womens and 15 mens styles in addition to small accessories.
Emma has this to say,
“I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with,” she said. “I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian and environmental issues surrounding fast fashion and want to make good choices but there aren’t many options out there.”
and People Tree has this to say,

I know, according to the papers I was definitely attending both Columbia and Yale but I’ve finally arrived at Brown University and while I wish that I could be in three places at once I wouldn’t believe everything you read! I arrived on Tuesday and I’m having the most amazing time. I’m still so excited to be here. I’ve already met so many incredible people. I’m over my jet lag and now I just want classes to start!! Hope you are all well and happy, and if you’ve just started college or university that it is everything you hoped it would be.
Love Emma xOh and contrary to the reports you may have read, I didn’t arrive by helicopter . I’ve only been in one once when I was little and I was terrified. Now back to my studies! Speak soon.
