It’s official, Emma Watson will start filming “Perks of Being a Wallflower” as early as May 2011 or as late as June 2011. Summit Entertainment (most famous for its Twilight production) will be its worldwide distributor. Actor John Malkovich ( Mr. Mudd ) will be executive producer and other Mr Mudd associates Lianne Halfon and Russell Smith will act as the movie’s producers. Emma Watson will play the supporting role of Sam and Logan Lerman will play lead role Charlie. Based on the novel by Stephen Chbosky, the script will also be written and directed by him. Emma Watson’s US-based talent agency are William Morris Endeavor and UK-based talent agency are Markham, Froggat and Irwin. Exclusively by Variety.
